Nutri Remedy Pvt. Ltd. carries forward a journey that began with a simple belief: the wisdom of medicinal plants can inspire thoughtful natural alternatives when explored through research.
Who we are
A journey that began with curiosity about nature
Nutri Remedy Pvt. Ltd., previously known as Nutrit Products, was founded on 29th September 1977 by Late Pravat Kumar Mukherjee.
At 33, he had already built a successful career. He began as a life science teacher at a missionary school, where he became a popular teacher. He later moved into the pharmaceutical industry and, within a short time, became the Regional Sales Head for the Eastern region of a multinational pharmaceutical company.
Yet his deeper interest lay in the medicinal properties of common plants. From childhood, he had explored their traditional uses in first aid and everyday ailments, and read research on medicinal plants available in West Bengal.
He began exploring whether natural alternatives could be developed for some of the products he had marketed. His work focused particularly on medicinal plants and digestive health.
